The Obsidian 450D is the ideal blend of solid, refined good looks and high performance cooling. On top of the case is room for up to a 360mm radiator, a rarity in mid-towers.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Corsair case without well-known, easy-to-use features like tool-free drive mounts for SSDs and 3.5” drives, optical drives, and excellent cable routing. Whether you’re looking for high airflow or potential for liquid cooling, the 450D has you covered.

I Love This Case XXX

Dust filters and cable management aside "easy to fix" the case is almost silent with the right fan profile. This case is of old design but I like retro and the ease of installation. Would I buy one again? gonna get one for my son.

great all round case

got one of these for the wife and im well impressed with how good it was, fits everything in with plenty of space ,got a h100i in with no problems,i did have one gripe which was the power ect cables from case to mobo but i think i got unlucky with them as they only just reached but all in all a very good case

Well made, but doesnt travel well

It's a great case if you plan to build your machine and leave it in place, but there are better options if you plan to travel with your machine. This case includes two large filters on the top and bottom held in place with magnets, they will fall and slip off whilst carrying the case. The front surface has a removable panel which comes off when pressed inwards. Essentially you will be lucky to move the computer from one room to another without one of these parts coming off, let along loading the machine into a car and travelling with it.

Nice case, but don't take it to LAN parties.

For those who prefer subtlety in their P

This case just looks pure class, built my new rig in it, whisper quiet, included fans are well up to the job of keeping my 4690K (@4.6Ghz) & Nvidia 760 nice and cool.

The only downside is the USB 3 cable, it's incredibly stiff and high quality, but if your motherboard has a vertical USB 3 header like mine (Z97 Asus VII Hero) you can't really pull it tight and out of the way for cable routing purposes, if you tried you'd likely rip the header off the motherboard, The best I could do was zip tie it behind my graphics card power cables in order to disguise it as much as possible.

So if you want the best results for cable routing, try and go for a motherboard with an edge mounted horizontal header (assuming there are any??), the fact that the cable is black does hide it well, but if you look in the pictures above you'll see they haven't connected a USB 3 cable up and I can understand why...

Apart from that I'd recommend this case any day, it's expensive but it will last years and I can be confident it will be able to fit just about anything available now or in the future.

Stunning case, not perfect though!

I love Corsair's cases. They always give the look and feel of a premium product. The 450D is no exception.
It ticks all the boxes for me. It's relatively small, has plenty of room inside, supports a 360mm radiator, comes with plenty of fans, and has a nice big side window.

There are a couple of small things that slightly disappointed me though.
Cable management was somewhat difficult as the space between the motherboard tray and side panel is smaller than what im used to (I have Graphite 600T which has loads of room) So squeezing the thick cables from my Enermax PSU in that space made it extremely difficult to close the side panel. An extra cm of space would be a godsend.
The dust filter in front of the 2 140mm front fans is not the best. It will stop large pieces of dust, things like cat hairs etc, but fine dust will get through it easily. I might consider my own makeshift dust filter using womens tights or something.
Those 2 points brought it down to 4 stars, but overall, it is a premium case, but if you're reading this review, you probably already knew that.
