Silent and deadly

As has been said, many many connections. Only problem I can see for others is where to put em all. Lucky for me my case is huge and I have no probs with this.

Also runs very quiet and even quieter for me as I have it mounted on rubber buffers and my case is acoustically treated as well.

Creates very little heat too.

If you recieve this power supply and its noisy, I might suggest returning it because like all electronics, they can go gaga ( not the lady kind, the radio kind :P )

Corsair TX 750W

Not the PSU to get if your looking for silent operation, mine is by far the loudest component in a water cooled setup.

Superb quality

Had this just under 3 years now and it's still running solid. The cables are very long and will reach just about anywhere in any case, the connecters are plentifull and I cant think what on earth you could build to need them all, corsair have made a very future proof power supply here. Mine has run solid an E6600 @ 3.5GHZ on an ASUS x38 maximus formula ROG mobo, 2GB 1066mhz crucial ballistic tracer RAM, 2x 10.000rpm raptors in raid, 2 x 250 gb storage drives and numerous GPU's in that time including my latest Nvidia 460 without ever having a problem. I am building my new i7 setup soon and will be using this PSU in it, There is no point in replacing it, as solid and strong as the day I bought her from overclockers and will have no problem powering it, plus I still have 2 years warranty on it!! A massive 5 stars for build quality and reliability.

nuff said!

Reliable as always

Stupid amount of connections :) caters for absolutely every possible configuration you may have .. or want.

Fits into my HAF X case with ease, with cable length not being a problem at all.

The PSU itself is quiet. Does what it says on the box. Rock solid thus far. As you'd expect from Corsair!

And rock solid service from OCuk as always..

call it 3 an a half

In the old machine i had the vx 450W and bought one of these when i wanted to build a new system.

The new tx 750W gave out after just under 3 months and burned my mobo but hey even corsair are gona have the odd duff now and then just unlucky it was me.

Pros
Amazing amount of connections.
the clip design for the 20/24 molex pins are a nice idea same for the 4/8 as well.
very silent even when powering 3 video cards 4 hdds an 2 optical drives.
Amount of power actualy being supplied to the various components are well within tolerances almost bang on the money.

Cons
Due to the sheer amount of connections that the unit offers cable management is a little awkward, or at least it was in an antec 900 and 1200.
(1st one failed after 3 months)

Excellent PSU

Had this for a little over 2 months now and can't fault it. Its quiet and my volt rails are certainly stable even after overclocking. I haven't extensively tested it because I don't have SLI/Crossfire or multiple drives etc but for your average custom build PC its more than enough and further more future proof, plenty of connections, excellent build quality.
Only downside is there is an overflow of wires, but thats an issue with it not being a modular PSU however reading about the non-modular PSUs such as this one are much more stable in power.
Recommend buy for sure!

Corsair TX 750W

Excellent. Purchased one of these, installed as a replacement for a 500W Akasa unit - which had died. Machine is up and running and so much quieter!
Really impressed, would buy another one any time!

Perfect Choice

I love this power supply. If I didn't have something agains't modular then its only problem would be the insane number of cables; but that only counts as a spectacle to the sheer output capacity.
I use this to power 3 HDDs, q6600 @ 3.4GHz, 2x 9800GT, p5n-t Deluxe and other minor components - it copes very well and I am sure it will cope nicely when I get a high end card from nVidia's next range.

ok

psu wise this is very good, lots of cables...lots of molex lots of sata even lots of graphics card power cables cantremember the name. however the cables are surrounded in a thick mesh to protectthem making cable management very hard in my antec 900. i got this psu about a year ago for about 70 quid so a reasonablly good deal.

in short if you have a very large/good case or if you do have 4 graphics cards and 6 hdd to power thenthis psu is fine but if you only need a few connectors thenyou will have a huge messof spare cables to deal with. if it were modular it would be perfect
