Bought this RAM to accompany my new system paired with an AMD FX-8120 CPU and and Asus M5A97 MOBO. According to the BIOS at first-time setup it was set at 1332MHz (which it defaults itself to I guess) but it was easy to whack it up to 1600MHz - no need to overclock really. Runs like a dream now and WEI has rated it a 7.7.
Excellent service from Overclockers! I ordered it on the Saturday afternoon and had it waiting for me when I came back from work on the Monday.
Excellent product, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

Does what it says on the tin

a dream to use in my Asrock Extreme4 Gen3 with my 2500k, defaults to 1333mhz, but they are running fine at 1600mhz now ive put the bios settings right :)

Good for AMD boards

Put these in a Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 with an X4 965. Thought 8GB was great, so much so (and they were on special offer) i couldn't resist buying another pair.

Now have 16GB, which is great for gaming, multitasking and just about anything really. just watch you CPU cooler & slot location as these have high heat spreaders -- ok with Gigabyte board and Zalman cooler combo for me.

Works well with AMD

Put these in a Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H with an X4 965 and it runs like a dream. Sure it defaults to 1333Mhz but that was expected. Great price too, thanks OC

Good RAM

Corsair are well known for high-quality RAM and this is no different. The latencies can be lowered without issues and the RAM is as fast as one expects. The heatsinks look good and do their job well.

Unfortunately as has been mentioned in a previous review, the heatsinks are pretty high profile. For me this was no issue as I only have these two sticks, though my CPU cooler does block the first slot (due to the placement of one of its fans). For people wanting to populate their system with four sticks of these, please be warned and be strategic when choosing a CPU cooler or alternatively look for a lower profile version.

It's tall!

Call me naive but I didn't factor in the height of this RAM. When I later looked for decent CPU coolers it really limits your choices when you have RAM this high. Corsair infact now do a low profile version - I wonder why!

Quite fast

Some of the best ram you can get for an AMD gaming platform, got it running at 1800mhz and for anyone interested it scores 7.8 in windows experience index ^^

Great stuff

Just received the above item, upgraded from 4gb to 8gb. Not really noticed much difference in speed of apps loading etc, but I'm sure I will. As for the memory itself, it worked @ 1333Mhz, 1T, 1.5v upon 1st boot, these are the standard SPD timings. The XMP SPD timings are 1600Mhz 2T 1.5v. Done all the usual memory tests with no problems reported and not errors etc. Good stuff for the price and of course you get the Corsair lifetime warranty for peace of mind :D. A good buy and great service as usual :) Recommended. On a side note I have the Asus P8P67 motherboard and this memory works a treat with no instabilities, but I have the latest BIOS update.

Stable at C8 with 2500k

Good RAM and mine has happily hit C8 timings with 1.56v on a gigabyte p67a ud3

No issues wth this good ram - cheaper look than usual- no big issue there. If you have Sandy bridge go for c8 version a touch more expensive however better compatibility. Had a nightmare with this on P8p67 deluxe board with timings. A lesson learned read the QVL - sorted in the end

I ran this at lower latencies with no issues, good RAM. However i was really surprised how cheap and flimsy the heatspreader is, if i am honest its not the quality feel you come to expect from corsair.
I cant imagine it serves any purpose other than looks.
Over all I am happy.
