Incredible!
by Mr Stephen FurnellMy previous set were Corsair 1500 Vengeance which I fondly enjoyed for 6+ years. I tried the Void range but found the sound clarity poor, but I wonder if I just had a rare case of a bad batch, so I decided to treat myself with this set.Wow this set is incredible. The range is SO GOOD. I use headphones mainly for music, but I am a fanboy for Corsair, so it had to be a Headset from them. Bass is amazing and it doesn't smother out the higher-range sound. The sound quality is just simply amazing, compared to my old headset, through Stereo and 7.1 Surround.The battery life is fantastic for me. I would never be on the PC longer than 8-9 hours MAX so having up to 20 hours of battery power is great!It fits very comfortably on my head, one flaw I find with these is they don't fully surround my ears unlike my 1500 Vengeance headset, so every now and again I have to take them off to give my ears a rest from being pressed. If they were 5-10mm larger they would be perfect, in my opinion.Another minor issue I have found with them is it somehow messes with my Internet connection. I presume it's due to it using a wireless dongle, but when I turn my PC off, I have to make sure I have stopped these being the Default sound output device, otherwise the next time I load my PC up, it seems to conflict with my internet connection. I am not sure if it's caused by an issue on my PC or the Headset's drivers them self, so I am not sure if I can say this is a drawback or not.I haven't used the microphone so I can't critique it's quality.I find the two issues I have with these are heavily out-weighed by the positives.OverallPositives:-Battery LifeSound RangeSound ClarityAmazing BassWireless RangeCan be used with anything that has Aux 3.5mm compatibilityRGB (I mean, of course!)Negatives:-Pads aren't wide enough to not irritate the ears after long periods of use.Cause issues with internet connection if loaded PC has them as Default Sound Output (Though could be an issue on my PC, not the Headset them self, so take that with a pinch of salt).9/10 Highly recommend!
