Puritas Midi Tower Gaming Case - Black Tempered Glass

With the Puritas Tempered Glass Midi-Tower, Cougar has made the bold decision to produce a case with four tempered glass side panels. The increased visibility takes the tower from being merely an example of stylish design and turns it into a unique and eye-catching object in its own right.

Far from prioritising form over function, the case provides an abundance of space for air or water cooled components. Even gaming GPUs with large triple fan coolers will fit inside the tower without an issue.

As for lighting, the transparent panels perfectly compliment the three pre-installed Vortex LED fans.

The Features of the Cougar Puritas at a Glance:

  • Stylish visuals with tempered glass on the front, at the sides and up top
  • Capacity for 360 mm water cooling radiators
  • 3 x Cougar Vortex LED fans included
  • Room for 425 mm Graphics Cards
  • Versatile options for mounting HDD/SSDs

Spacious Case with Superb Cooling Options

The Puritas Tempered Glass Midi-Tower makes for an outstanding overall package. The case is sufficiently large to accept motherboards up to ATX in size. It is also possible to install long gaming GPUs with triple fan cooler (up to 425 mm in length).

The case has many cooling options with space for up to 10 fans for air cooling. There are several possibilities for installing fans. Including 3 on top of the unit, three in the front panel as well a single fan on the base and rear of the unit. There is also the option to mount the two fans vertically to sit alongside the motherboard.

Additionally the top and front panels are slightly offset from the body of the case. This further improves cooling and gives the case a more tapered appearance.

The tower is equally effective for users looking to build a water cooled system. The case can hold up to five radiators in sizes from 120 mm to 240 mm and even 360 mm. In fact, there's room to fit a 360 mm radiator in either the front or top panel of the case.

Courageous Design

The four tinted, tempered glass side panels are especially impressive. They make the contents of your build visible to everyone and create a unique lighting effect, giving the LED light that emits from the case a kind of semi-transparent quality.

You can see this effect in action with the 3 Vortex LED fans Cougar have included with the Puritas.

Of course, users are also free to express their creativity through their own lighting setup. That said, whatever lighting setup you choose to use, it will certainly look its best thanks to the case's transparent tempered glass panels.

The case offers excellent cable management options, and this will assist users in achieving the desired look for your build. The case comes with a PSU shroud that conceals excess cabling as well as velcro cable ties to keep things neat and tidy.

Versatile Connections

The Puritas Tempered Glass Midi-Tower offers several options for arranging HDDs and SSDs within the tower. It is possible to install 2x 3.5"or 2.5" and 4x 2.5" HDDs/SSDs.Two SSDs can be concealed behind the motherboard and two HDDs within the PSU shroud. Alternatively two SSDs can be displayed prominently on top of the PSU shroud.

There is an I/O panel conveniently located on top of the case and features 2 x USB3.0 ports, 1 x Mic, 1 x Audio Jack and 1 x Fan Controller. The included fan controller can manage the speed of up to 7 fans via 3 pin non-PWM connectors. For that matter, it is fully of capable of controlling the 3 pre-install Vortex fans.

All in all then the Cougar Puritas Tempered Glass Midi-Tower is an outstanding case with many options and an outstanding appearance thanks to its tempered glass aesthetic.
