Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update - We’re online

We are open for business as usual online and will continue to support home and essential businesses with the equipment required to operate effectively.

Customer and staff welfare remains at the heart of everything we do. Which is why we have introduced a number of key safety measures that protect the entire Overclockers community. These include:

  • Advised social distancing practices
  • Masks arranged and protective gloves issued to members of staff
  • Improved hygiene procedures
  • Additional office and warehouse cleaning routines
  • Free lunch for all staff members

You can rest assured that we are taking the epidemic very seriously and will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation carefully, reacting immediately to any new information issued by the Government.

Our COVID-19 risk assessment is a living document where we continue to update and improve the risk assessment based on staff feedback and the latest issued COVID-19 UK Government Guidance.


Order Online and Collect In-Store

We are pleased to confirm, in-line with government guidance, our ‘COVID-19 Secure’ Contactless Click and Collect service is now available.

This means, you can place an order online and safely collect it from our Newcastle-under-Lyme shop a short while after your order is placed.

Contactless Click and Collect Instructions

Step 1: Place your order via the website.

Simply choose ‘Collect from our shop’ as your preferred 'delivery method' for the Contactless Click and Collect service.

Step 2: Await the confirmation email.

Your confirmation email will contain key instructions on the contactless click and collect process and will be sent as soon as your order is ready for collection.

Step 3: Head to our Newcastle-under-Lyme store and follow the email instructions provided.

Please ensure you stay inside your vehicle and park in the designated bays for click and collect.

Take note of the bay number you have parked in and call the number provided in your order confirmation email to confirm you are present and ready to collect.

A colleague will place your order in the designated area which ensures social distancing rules are adhered to and verbally verify your order.

If you require special assistance, please inform us when you call upon arrival.

Important Note

  • Please ensure you maintain social distancing at all times and wear a face covering
  • Please note and observe key signage
  • If the click and collect bays are full, please park in the car park and relocate your vehicle to a vacant bay once clear

COVID-19 Impact Mitigation

To minimise impact to our customers and staff we have implemented the following practices:

General Operation

  • Monitoring the COVID-19 situation carefully and daily, reacting daily to any new information issued by the Government.
  • Temporarily closed our primary retail outlet in Newcastle-Under-Lyme
  • Issued employee preventative / protection guidelines.
  • Increased office and warehouse cleaning routines.
  • An increased number of workspaces have been created within our technical department increasing distance spacing.

Employees

  • Advised Social distancing measures.
  • Offering staff the ability to work from home where possible to minimise risks.
  • Masks arranged and gloves issued to all staff.
  • Onsite staff temperatures checked daily with contactless thermometers
  • Free lunch for all staff members to remove the need to visit food shops offsite.
  • Signage encouraging best practices.

Supply

  • Working with suppliers to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Increased stock holding on core lines.
  • Daily updates from suppliers allowing us the ability to foresee potential issues and mitigate them before they happen.
  • Additional agency staff sourced to meet demand.

Delivery

  • Our delivery partners are committed to offering the very best service and endeavour to deliver your order as fast as possible while applying sensible practices.
  • Customer delivery updates via email (service dependant).
