Fricking Fast Drive

Using this drive with Windows 7 is highly impressive.
Windows load screen is wizzing along like its had a Redbull session.
Apps load very fast, system is super responsive.

Great bang for the buck

Fantastically fast, punches well above its weight.

Loads W7 RC in under 30 seconds and shuts down in 5.

Programs install really fast, only real complaint is the capacity is a bit small as I have already nearly filled it up as latest games are over 10GB.

Considering getting a second and having a RAID configuration.

Best Value SSD

Really impressed with this drive, its is very fast in my 3 year old laptop. What a difference it makes eventhough my laptop is only sata 1 not sata 2, im getting write speeds of 144mb and read speeds of at least 150mb per/sec. Shuts down in less than 10 secs and starts up in under 20 secs.

Next i need a new laptop that is around the

Could the best ssd yet

Bought 2 of these, running in RAID0. Win7 install took less then 10 minutes. Boot up takes all of 20 seconds from pushing the power button. Loading multiple appz takes seconds.

ATTO reports 528mb/s read 396mb/s write. Thats over 100% scaleing from single drive speed.

Win7 score 7.6

2x Crucial M225 128gb
i7 965 XE
Asus P6T V2

Installing games from iso takes seconds.

Price per GB is still very high, but it is gettting better all the time. I would say these crucial branded ssd's are the best value ssd's, and one of the fastest drives out.

Got the drive and then installed windows 7.

I have just enabled AHCI mode in the bios and changed the following registry setting so windows does not show the Blue screen of death. follow the instruction and then change the bios setting and it all works now my performance has gone up in atto

ATTO v2.34

Read Average speed is 260MB/s
Max speed is 261.629MB/s

Write Average speed is 195MB/s
Max speed is 195.938MB/s

So just change the bios setting from IDE mode to AHCI has given me a read increase of 10MB/s and write increase of 15MB/s.

The drve is now running above crucial rating of 250MB/s read and 190MB/s write
