Cryorig's QF120 Performance is distinguished by it four additional ventilation slots in the frame of the fan. This increases the efficiency of these fans so that they provide reliable cooling even at low speeds. This Performance variant of the QF120 is capable of a wide range of speeds and is primarily designed for optimum cooling. The fan RPM can be controlled via the motherboard or more precisely via PWM. At a low 600 RPM the QF120 Performance produces a barely audible13 dB(A). When the fan spins at the maximum of 2.200 RPM, the noise produced remains a quiet 37 dB(A). Additionally the QF120 Performance uses an extremely quiet bearing that goes by the name of HPLN (High Precision Low Noise).

This allows the QF120 Performance to produce a maximum of 83,3 m3/h airflow with a higher than average static pressure of 3,33 mm H2O. Furthermore the fan is equipped with rubberised dampeners in the corners. The QF120 Balance is designed not only as a case fan but also as an incredibly efficient CPU fan.
