Brilliant Product, advert ... not so muc

The graphics card itself is stunning, as one would expect. If you're buying this card, then the odds are you already know many of it's features and benefits.

What really cheesed me off however, was the fact that Overclockers put "This week only" on the price when it came back in stock on the site for

Just brill

Got this card to replace my r9 270 well worth it as now the is nothing this card cannot play, im playing dragon age inq (3) and this card just blows it away very nice graphics indeed for the money all setting on ultra with mantle enabled temps stay around 38-45c on full load very nice.

Silent, Cool, Powerful

Runs amazingly quiet at idle 32C at 30% fan speed on default auto settings, 65C load without revving up fan speed past the 30%. Dominates Battlefield 4 on ultra settings, paired with an i7 4790K 4.7ghz
Runs just as quiet at 45% fan speed but i feel no need to rev up the fan speeds due to the cooling of my custom tower build setup.
Built my system to allow for a possible crossfire for 4K gaming or rendering but don't think i would need to in the next five years or so.

Bad luck?

I must be unlucky as my PowerColor R9 290 PCS+ was a bit too flaky for my liking. The fans were stuck at 30% and wouldn't budge which caused it to eventually overheat and freeze. It never hit the advertised core speed of 1040MHz, even after upping the power limit by +20 and manually adjusting the fans to keep it cooler (fans didn't work on auto).... The best I got was 1000MHz and it was usually hovering around 950MHz or so.

I can't really recommend it based on my experience, and there are a couple of versions floating around with different brands of memory and different bios versions.

Amazing cooler

Switched from an MSI Gaming Edition 290 to this Powercolor model and temps went from 71c at full load with 120fps limit in Planetside 2 to a max of 61c with this card, it actually stays around 59c at only 55% fan, which is amazing.

Runs cool and quiet

Runs cool and quiet even when heavy gaming, example Far cry 3 ultra 1080p fans set at 60% temps never rises above 60c and this is summer so room is quite warm about 24 c, the noise is some of the quietest ive heard on any card at 60% fan speed.

Full metal fan shroud, backplate and great overclock out of the box, Core: 1040MHz and memory 1350 mhz.

Buy It!

I'm impressed with this card, i wrote a more extensive review here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18593226

Awesome with a capital A

Bought one from kikatek as it was out of stock here, plugged it in and installed the latest beta Drivers Uniengine Valley Averaged 67FPS on extreme settings @1920x1080 maxed out at 139FPS at stock clocks.also got similar results on the mantle test on Starswarm Benchmark temps havent gone above 65C under full load while Playing Skyrim heavily modifed on Ultra Settings.

One word of advice though it is a 3 slot cooler so beware if you plan on running more than one card,I might be able to get a second one on my Asus Maximus VI Formula but it'll be a tight fit.
Other than that awesome card FYI stock clocks are 1040Mhz on the GPU 5400Mhz on the memory I'm sure there's room to overclock but right now I don't dare lol

i just upgrade to one of these from a Gigabyte HD7850 2GB and wow the difference havent found anything yet to make it struggle. it is a little noisier when the fans kick in, but when in quiet mode i can hear it at all
