The Ducky MIYA Pro Sakura Edition is a compact gaming keyboard in TKL-Mini format that takes up only 60% of the space of a full-sized keyboard. This keyboard is somewhat different however, thanks to its unique white and pink appearance. Fitting with the name "Sakura", the Japanese cherry blossom is also pictured on the Ducky MIYA. The keyboard combines this brilliant look with pink LED backlighting and high-quality Cherry-MX Black switches. Thanks to its diminutive dimensions, the Ducky MIYA Pro Sakura Edition is also very easy to transport.

The Ducky MIYA Pro Sakura Edition Gaming Keyboard at a Glance:

  • TKL-Mini design in striking white and pink
  • Premium Cherry MX Black switches
  • Matching pink LED background lighting
  • PBT keycaps for superb durability
  • Full Anti-Ghosting with N-key rollover via USB

Mechanical Cherry MX Black Switches

This Ducky MIYA Pro Sakura Edition employs Cherry MX Black switches. Cherry MX Black switches are linear, non-tactile switches and as such are best suited to FPS games. A tactical activation point is no required in FPS and as such is unnecessary, since the buttons are always fully activated in the heat of battle. The Cherry-MX Black switches come closest to rubberdome gaming keyboards in terms of their feel, however their high activation pressure offers a great deal more feedback.

Functions & Features of the Ducky MIYA Pro Sakura Edition Gaming Keyboard

Thanks to USB-N-key rollover multiple keys can be activated simultaneously, without resulting in "ghosting" or delays. This is where the 1000 Hz report rate on the USB connection comes into its own, sending information to the PC every millisecond. The unique feature here, is that the keyboard also comes with a USB Type C connector located at the end of a swappable 1.5 m long cable. The FN key allows additional buttons to be used, such as the F keys. This means that the Ducky MIYA Pro Sakura Edition doesn't skip a beat when it comes to functions.

The keycaps of the Ducky MIYA Pro are made from Polybutylenterephthalate, PBT for short, and these are markedly more durable and robust than those using ABS keys. For optimal adjustment to your individual requirements, the Ducky MIYA Pro Sakura Edition also comes with fold out feet.

Note: In order for the background lighting to function correctly, please update the firmware of the keyboard to the newest version.

Great keyboard, but a few flaws ruin some of the experience

by Samuel Shirley star_border star star star star

The keyboard itself is fantastic, it feels very solid, typing on it is a joy, its relatively quiet for a mechanical, the letters on the keycaps are brilliant and the usb type C is a brilliant addition. The only major issues i have with it, are mostly firmware based, its rather picky with the order you press key combinations, for example if you want the $ symbol, when you are in the mode where the number keys act as function keys, you have to press the FN key before shift, or it wont work, im also not a big fan of how the back-lighting shines through the pink keys, for me, it ruins the look of it when they are on.But overall, a fantastic keyboard, highly recommend if you like the aesthetic
