The Ducky One 2 Skyline is a compact gaming keyboard with a minimalist exterior, a range of useful features in addition to the sought after and premium Cherry MX Red switches. Thanks to the tremendous customisability and the unique Ducky construction, gaming keyboards from the One 2 TKL range have become virtually a necessity when it comes to victory over the online competition. Due to its compact design it is also very convenient and comfortable to take on the road.
This Ducky One 2 Skyline employs Cherry MX Red switches. These are highly tactile and have a very precise activation point as well as a tactile and audible click. First and foremost these switches are designed for practiced typists. Once you've got used to Red switches you won't want to try anything else. Cherry MX Red switches also allow for high-level gaming too.
As in the case of the full-size Ducky One 2, the Skyline is equipped with a powerful ARM-M3 micro- controller which reliably controls and stores the functions of the keyboard. Additionally, it optimises the communication between keyboard and PC while simultaneously enabling other functions, including the use of macros and profile memory. In addition to multimedia functions, Ducky Macro V2.0 also allows you to control the mouse pointer from the keyboard.
Thanks to USB N-key rollover, any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously without causing "ghosting" or other delays. Here the 1,000 Hz report rate of the USB port is of great help, sending data from the keyboard to the PC every millisecond.
This Ducky keyboard utilises a dual-layer PCB to increase the service life of the keyboard while improving signal stability. The key caps are made of polybutylene terephthalate, or PBT for short, and are produced using the double-shot process meaning they are significantly more durable than keys manufactured with ABS. In this process, plastic is poured around a shaped piece of metal or plastic so as to allow the two components to be joined together.
The Ducky One 2 TKL Skyline has three positions to allow for the most ergonomic positioning and customisation, depending on the needs of the user: folded in, small feet, and large feet. The removable USB Type C cable completes the keyboard.
