awesome mouse

Normally i hate doing reviews, but this mouse is so good i felt compelled to.

My roccat kone+ drove me spare with it's constant jitter, little did i know that's a trait of laser mice. Now i've had my eye on this mouse, seeing as it should give me the benefits of both and i was right.

You get smooth precise tracking, with the speed of a laser and no noticeable angle snapping.

Also it's curved more than the kone, which i find much better, the finish is similar as well.
There's a neat groove for you ring finger to sit on which i founf very nice.

The downside are the middle wheel is very stiff, but it's loosened up with use, and the software isn't as comprehensive, and if im honest far too flashy.

But for the money i really can't know it, and it's made sniping much easier, much to the annoyance of other players.

Don't hesitate just buy it.

i saw this in the reception at overclockers and had a quick play with it and brought 1 instantly(didnt even need a mouse lol)..fits my hand great and slides like its on a cusion of air..the buttons make a nice gentle click sound too so not annoying...have been playing warz since i bought it and couldnt be happier with it....great response and accuracy and there is plenty of options in the software to keep any geek happy :)
5 out of 5 ..thanks epic gear

Good budget mouse

Have been using this mouse for just over a week now as my previous mouse had died on me. I am pleased with it so far, but in comparison to the Logitech G9 there are two minor flaws.

The mouse is too light and can be tricky to get used to, but eventually you'll get used to this

The middle mouse button is too stiff when pressed.
Mouse weight is very light

However the positives are

Excellent price.
Easy to use macro interface (if a little too flashy).
Each colour corresponds to each macro set up, which can be easily changed with a press of a button.
A comfortable fit for my over-sized hand.
A free mouse pad with this order. And a lovely pad at that.

Plus the underside of mouse is always happy to see you...

I have previously used the Logitech G5 for 5 years and it finally died. After trying the top of the line Steelseries and Logitech G9x, I brought the Epic mouse. The shape is very similar to the G5 and suits my claw style. It is without a doubt THE most comfortable mouse I have ever owned. Combine this with the mouse pad and you will not look back.

I have previously used:

mionix naos 5000, logitech g400, g9x, g700, g500 and razor lachesis (rubbish).

This is a great mouse. Just before this i was using the g9x which i found to be very accurate but not comfortable. This mouse has it all. Its shape feels nice in the hand and it's curves give good placement for your fingers just like the mionix. The Meduza is more slender then the mionix and has good weight making it very easy to control.

Also the built quality is top notch.

it seems i can never be completely satisfied with a mouse, but this comes close

the precision of this mouse is outstanding and is brilliant for shooting and camera controlled games where smoothness is an issue

if you want to record game-play and have super plush camera control this mouse is an excellent choice it has zero jitter in hdst mode but feels hyper sensative

it's only real downfall are the buttons, they feel like old clunky keyboard keys compared with the precision of Logitech's gaming keys

HDST of Pure WIN!

In my time i have a lot of mice from the cheapest --> most expensive. I have found this product to be one of the best mice i have used in the last 6-8 years. The click switches in the mouse are really great. The scroll wheel has a good spring also down not give any back roll when pressed down & released. Combined with the side finger placement feels great in the hand, Slides great on all mats & surfaces i have, other laser mice products forced me to change my mat :(. Back in the day i used to have one of the Logitech dual optical mice tracking was really good on that. The HDST on this mouse is miles better. Tested on all FPS games can say this took no getting used to, within 30 mins this felt like an upgrade to my hand.
