EVGA.. high tier brand and this PSU was on offer (Black Friday) so it fitted nicely in to my VR build. Not over clocking much as awaiting better cooling so its 450 watt output was fine.

Under high load (benchmarking) mine does suffer from very bad coil whine, Normal use seems fine however it is there in the back ground.

Despite that it seems to cope well, however the ASUS power management on my Z170-A does detect power surges at high load but there has been some questions raised about how accurate that system is on the Asus board.

I would buy another and will do so but a higher rated modular model.
