GeForce GTX 1070 FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
The EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 featuring EVGA ACX 3.0 cooling is here. This new graphics card features NVIDIA’s new “Pascal” graphics processor which is the most advanced gaming GPU ever created. This breakthrough GPU delivers industry-leading performance, innovative new gaming technologies, and immersive, next-gen VR.These cards also feature EVGA ACX 3.0 cooling technology. EVGA ACX 3.0 once again brings new and exciting features to the award winning EVGA ACX cooling technology. SHP 3.0 gives increased heatpipes and copper contact area for cooler operation, and optimized fan curve for even quieter gaming. Of course, ACX 3.0 coolers also feature optimized swept fan blades, double ball bearings and an extreme low power motor, delivering more air flow with less power, unlocking additional power for the GPU. Select EVGA ACX 3.0 models will even feature a 10CM fan and RGB LED, allowing complete control over the color from EVGA Precision XOC.
EVGA ACX 3.0 fans use double ball bearings, which offer 4X longer lifespan than the sleeve bearing fans used by competitors. The oil that is used in sleeve bearing fans makes them vulnerable and prone to failure after time when the oil dries up. Upgrade to EVGA ACX 3.0 and your card will go the distance!

Customer review
Average customer rating
(from 6 customer reviews)Breathtaking
I was on a 970 4GB previously and that was a great card for many, many years, but then comes a moment where it starts to show it's age and an upgrade is necessary, so this is where this 1070 GPU comes in.
It's technology is so smart compared to what i'm familiar with. It's boosted itself to 2012MHz and the fan technology is also very impressive.
This card has no problems whatsoever, it indeed crushes the latest intensive gaming titles and it performed amazingly in the 3D Mark benchmarks too.
I really couldn't ask for more from this card.
Great card for 1440p gaming
Great card for 1440P 144hz gaming (though Gsync helps).
Upgraded from an over clocked MSI 970 gaming and the overall performance increase is around 50/60%.
Fans don't kick in till 60C and intensive games hover around 70C. Fans are inaudible during games (auto setting). No coil whine at all.
Good looking card if you have a glass side to your PC.
Bit pricey. But that's the situation at the moment.
Over clocks decent enough (no voltage adjustment):
+100 on core boosts to around 2050/2100
+ 200x4 on memory (so = 8800 MHz)
Plus you have probably the best 3 year warranty out there.
PS. Latest cards coming with Micron memory.

Supreme quality!! Cool like ice and silent like a jaguar! This card is just absurde...
The first thing I would like to say is that the Overclocker´s customer service is amazing!! The packing was great, was able to track the pack live (DPD) and arrived without a scratch!! The Haribos are also a plus. Now talking about the card... all I can say is WOW! It has been a while since I build my own rig and maybe that is also a factor that makes me want to review this card 10/10 but I do really believe that is a 10/10. The card keeps a cool temperature of 60° Celsius( min 58° max 62°) when playing The Witcher 3 with all max out specs with a 144hz screen 1920x1080. The min frame rate is 57 and the max was 100 during gameplay, not counting the main menu ( gets peaks of 150 fps). This is when using the Evga´s stock settings, which is already overclocked. If you want to push this card more, just do it! this card can handle pretty much everything. I would say that I might have a low-resolution screen but unfortunately, the budget is what limited my choices and if anyone has a 1440p screen I would definitely say go for this!!
Great card..from arguably the best after sales company in the world.
Fantastic GTX 1070,mine boosted to 1997 out of the box eats games for breakfast I've got this paired with a I7 4790k and a Dell U2715H 1440p monitor.
+70 on the core clock and +501 on the mem clock 2050 and 4500 respectively (Msi Afterburner) gives me a nice firestrike score of 15 993..graphics score 19 936.
You've also got the guarantee of EVGA,S legendary care and after sales service.
I'd happily recommend this card to anyone.
Outstanding
4k performance:
I have a 4k tv so naturally I hooked my computer up to it when this card arrived to test it at 4k resolution. I've played all the most recent games I have with this card at 4k resolution on either maximum settings or pretty much so but only with FXAA since I sit far away enough from the screen I'm using that I can't see any jaggies whatsoever anyways. So far this card has been able to achieve a pretty solid 60fps on every title I've thrown at it except Fallout 4 which required some tweaking of the settings to get it there.
Performance summary:
Outstanding 4k gaming experience with buttery smooth frame rates.
The cooler:
Personally I think EVGA has the best looking 1000 series cards on the market right now so that swayed my decision towards this card along with their legendary warranty reputation. The cooler itself feels really premium, it's heavy and very rigid so it doesn't appear to have any notable sagging at the end in my system and of course it has plenty of aluminium parts on the shroud to help give it that premium feel. I like customising things so naturally I made a custom fan curve which is a little more aggressive than the stock fan curve in the precision software. I've not seen the temperature go above 62c and that was in a high ambient for the UK, it was about 25c outside. If I play games for numerous hours at 4k and really stress the card I've only hit 60c in the recent climate and on top of that I can't hear the cooler at all over the other fans in my system. It has RGB lighting which does look really good but at the moment in the software it keeps returning to white light when I restart my PC but that is possibly just a bug that needs ironing out.
Cooling summary: Cool & quiet!
Overall opinion: Outstanding card all round and well worth the purchase.
