Solid hardware, great software

So, the mouse itself first. It's a good mouse. The build quality is good, it looks nice(in my opinion) and it fits well, even in my huge hands. Has buttons which make it easy and fast to change DPI settings and will fit left handers or right handers fine. The software is really good, best I've seen for a mouse for a loooong time. You can cutomise the LED colours and even do a breathing effect really easily. The software is laid out so well it makes it easy to adjust profiles and customise button actions. Only downside is that you do have to search the EVGA website for the software as no driver disc comes with it.

TL;DR Just buy it. you probably won't regret it. You might, but you probably won't.

I'm a leftie so stuck with ambidextrous mice so shopping around for a good mouse is always difficult.

Personally I love the look of the mouse, but the main selling point is the ability to mechanically raise and lower the height of the housing and this alone really makes a big difference to the feel so you can adjust this to suit your grip style. This made it easy to get comfortable after swapping from my Razer Taipan. I'd say this one beats the Taipan.

The software is easy to use for setting macros, and profiles are stored on the mouse. There's a button at the bottom to dynamically flick between (the 6 of) them. You can also independently change the led lighting at the front and rear of the mouse with different colour lights. The weight can be adjusted, but you'll need to take the top off the mouse. Be careful as it looks like you could damage one of the clips that holds it to the mouse if you don't pull the top off in a specific direction. I didn't need to add any of the weights, it's fine as it is in my opinion.

Finally, the main left and right buttons need a fair bit more pressure to operate than my Taipan or Steel Series mouse buttons. That's the only negative point I have. Overall I'm very happy with it, it performs great and a reasonable price for a premium gaming mouse.
