They had no choice, the EU idiots forced them to do it or they were going to fine them a ridiculous amount under some Anti-competitive law.

a lot more geeks out there than I thought then considering FF 3.6 is the most common version of any browser out.
idk, top browser version for me is firefox 3.5.7 @ 30% only 14% IE 8...(Yeah all website stats are different but not THAT different.)
The whole thing is a trivial matter anyway.
Those who know better go and download Firefox/Chrome/Opera/Safari/Whatever.
