I have a wierd thing for collecting a pebble from every place I visit. For example, I have one from a river in Banff, Canada, another from the seabed during a trial scuba dive off Rhodes, one from a conference center in Florida, etc. I just like to have a little physical reminder. It does seem odd sometimes though. :)

I collect comic books and Magic the gathering trading cards,

I think I might be close to the top of the nerdiness pile,

I still have my pokemon cards from my early teens too but haven't added to the collection for over 10 years now

When I was younger I tried collecting stamps and coins, but I found that boring and quickly gave it up.

I do have a complete collection of Judge Dredd: Lawman of the Future comics. A rather short lived series, I have all issues in pristine condition in a binder in my bedroom, each issue in a seperate polly pocket. Might be worth something to someone someday :D

STI's. I almost have the full set! Just missing 'The Gift'.....

I have a box of old Magic the Gathering cards from 12 years ago when I was in University. I figure I hold on to them for another 20 years and they'll be worth quite an amount, as they were about £10k last valuation 5 years ago.

Started collecting movie stuff. Got casino cards and chips from casino royale and a promotional samsonite case from tomorrow never dies. Not really a collection but its a start

Same here, anything Film, TV and gaming related, but only films, TV series and games in my collection = I like.

I also collect old computer systems, software, games and gaming machines. Anything retro that I watched, gamed on or enjoyed growing up.

Love Star Wars, 80's music and GTA Gear lol.

Star Wars stuff is pretty cool, but I hate the thought of giving George Lucas any more money :(

I can't help it, I will be buying the Blu-rays, even though I have owned two different versions of VHS, and a set of DVD's I just love SW way to much...

On the other hand I have just started to collect SW books (Which is bad because in the space of two weeks I have nearly filled my bookshelf [Well the 2 shelves that were spare] and really need more shelf space, any tips?) I buy most of them second hand though so Mr Lucas sees nothing.... Sadly nor does the publisher, but they are mostly out of print so...

As for the Canvas how much would you say is a good price to pay?

Loving the old Amiga 1200 and Atari 2600. Had both of those growing up myself. Would love to get my hands on another Amiga 1200. Hours were spent playing this.

But do you not fear falling into the empty abyss of a nerdy life time snuggled up on those cold winter nights with your star wars life sized yoda stuffed toy (bet it exists) haha?

Haha, not quite that bad, just the films normaly, recently started on the books, but I dont collect toys/figures or the like. I am a big nerd I admit, but mostly in books and movies.

:EDIT:

Stupid phone, tryed twice to post but all it did was quote you.

Meant to say:

I do like the star wars films, watched them all in a two day stint the other day after playing kotor and getting the geek bug. You might like the X3 games, they have some good space action and a lot to do for someone who likes to collect things. Check them out.
