Cranked up the HDR brightness to 1500nits, which is my TV's max, improved things a notch for me. The defaults are very low 500.

Overall I find HDR to be a weird one, it's never been a thing for me on gaming.

Also gaming mode enabled helps for console gaming.

Just doing the tutorials, PS5 so can't comment much beyond that.

Should not have been released on last gen consoles in this state. It's a slideshow on Base PS4 and Xbox One and S.

The other versions are Xbox SX >> PS5 >> Xbox SS.

Impressed how stable it is on Series S. Visuals are far nicer than last gen console, and solid framerate. That CPU upgrade is worth it from last gen. Those wondering if a move from Xbox One X to Xbox Series S is worth it. Yes it really is.

The game will only get better from here. (On next gen console and PC xD)

Its not just the frame rate, the general graphics are horrible. The particle effects from gun shots look awful.

There is a patch coming for next gen, PS5 and Xbox consoles are running the same version just tiered. With next gen consoles holding higher resolution and FPS, there is better textures also. See video above.

It will only get better from here. For some it would be worth waiting a few months for the game to be in a more polished, patched up state.

Performance mode is worth it for better framerate on XSX. quality mode really onlys nets you better shadows. PS5 seems to be default performance mode only.

Performance mode looks absolutely horrific on a 4k display...it must be well below 1080p. I tried it for a few minutes on my CX....nope nope nope. Quality mode it is.

Do you lot turn motion blur off?

Also those that have been playing on series x, what you finding the best performance or quality mode.

Yes, first thing I turned off, as well as most options in that menu. I hate that stuff.

Horrifc? It looks OK on my C9, far from horrifc.
