Fabinho's still out for us so I guess it'll be the same side that played midweek unless Klopp throws a wild selection out there, which to be fair he's done a few times in the derby.
Toffee's are playing well away from home, BUT if Liverpool score early I suspect Everton will do an Everton and just bend over!:o:D Or Pickford will just do something dumb!
If you're ever going to win at Anfield it's tomorrow. I've always felt that Everton haven't been able to handle the pressure they've been put under from their own fans in derbies, particularly the ones where they've gone into with people fancying them to get a result. No fans in the ground will take a bit of that emotion out of the game and that might help your lot more than our CB issues.

Think the Leeds game was pretty even should have put our chances away, Wolves had a lucky goal hitting Meslier in the back and bouncing in.

Just catching up, Minamino! Mugged off Azpilicueta and Mendy a treat :D

Ready for a classic Southampton second half collapse now

Edit - standard bit of Southampton VAR luck too by the sounds of the BBC commentary

Southampton 1-0 Chelsea

Another VAR check and you have to say Timo Werner is lucky to get away with this.

Moussa Djenepo slips and the Chelsea striker loses control of the ball before stretching and catching the Saints man high on the leg with his studs.

Play on.

Southampton 1-0 Chelsea

Moussa Djenepo is really in the wars today and again Chelsea are very fortunate.

The Saints man slides in to make a perfectly timed challenge but N'Golo Kante comes in late and stamps on the ankle of the Saints player.

Not even a yellow, VAR Stuart Attwell is having a shocker.

Post update
Southampton 1-0 Chelsea

This is the first time Chelsea have fallen behind under Thomas Tuchel. The goal was Southampton's very first shot.

Meanwhile, Moussa Djenepo continues to receive treatment from the physio.

Timo Werner and N'Golo Kante lucky to still be on the pitch.

:)

Can't complain at the result, would have taken a point against Chelsea before the game.

Djenepo got absolutely kicked all over the pitch and it took until 80 minutes for a card to appear.

Does anyone else miss the pre pandemic MOTD? It used to be a football feast with 7-8 games on a Saturday night, now you’re lucky to get 5, and most weeks it’s only 4. Just not the same.

Mind you, it was never as good after Hansen left anyway.

Can't see Everton offering much, they are so erratic anyway let alone with their main threat on the bench. They blew it, 3 points behind liverpool with 3 games in hand. They will get thumped today. Should be an enjoyable game though.
