Yep agreed the 330 engine is really lovely, OK its not got the power of an S54 M3 engine, but there is just something abouit them 330's.
I'd say you should keep that car now @rare as with the way some older car prices are going in 10 years it could be worth quite a bit of money and just enjoy it.

E46, 996/7 Porsche were the perfect size cars, no fear of piloting them down a B road at warp speed, the newer stuff biggest downfall is the size as most just got so wide.

That’s the intention - I already sold this one once and regretted it. They are getting a lot harder to find in this condition now. E30 325 sports are going for lots of cash now, I can see the E46 following suit eventually.

haha thanks mate! It’s nothing too special, they aren’t expensive cars or anything like that. I just like older, interesting and really clean examples. Something that would get noticed, but only to someone that might know what they are looking at.

Money and taste arent necessarily linked!

Aye exactly. But it’s like your old 135i, nothing “special” per se, but late model, nice spec, good colours, etc.

It's actually pretty much exactly half way through the production run. Love the colour combo, looks BMW individual?
I was talking about his 135i from a few years back. The 330Ci above can't be a late model as it's a pre-facelift :p
It is Mora Individual, yes.

Super wet day at Castle Combe yesterday. Track was closed for 2 hours or so because so much standing water. Still turned into a great day, better to go from wet -> dry than the other way round.

Also had a passenger ride in a 620R and a 765LT. Frankly outrageous, I've never experienced anything like it. 620R felt more track, better braking and corner speed but that extra power in the 765LT is absolutely bonkers. It feels as fast over 100mph as a 'fast' car does under 100. We hit 160mph going into Avon Rise and it was soooooo stable under braking even on that terrible bit of track. Still buzzing a bit from it tbh! On the tiny section of 'straight' after Tower before the 2nd chicane, it got from 70-100 before braking.

Some laps from me here, fairly dry by now with a bit of damp here & there.
Still getting used to driving on track & the car in general, but starting to gain confidence. Still probably 15 seconds off what the car can do though!. Huge improvement with new front alignment (more camber), much more neutral.

Beautiful E46 that, My neighbour has a 06 330ci in red (Imola red?) which he's looking to sell which I'm very tempted, I know he's been quite meticulous with the maintenance, anything small it goes straight to a BMW specialist, All depends how much he wants for it.

I've not been in a 765, but I've been for a passenger ride (including launch) in a 720 and that was mentally fast, frankly amazing that something so quick has numberplates and was so comfortable, quiet and well damped on normal roads as well! Honestly, it felt as much faster than my M3 as my M3 is faster than a Fiesta!!! :D

I don't remember if it's the late M3 or 330Ci on the E46's but I believe one of them was in the highest VED banding, so just be careful on that.

Imola red is an utterly gorgeous colour on the E46 though, and a meticulous example is not to be sniffed at. If you don't buy it, drop us the link here when it's for sale :D

Why the Kia? Just to make the Boxster feel even better?
I mean it's even from before Kia started to make good cars :(
