Got a good friend looking to overhaul his entire system. The rig's main use will be for gaming, but the budget is around £400-ish.

I've been playing around for a few minutes and come up with this system:

Anyone got any suggestions for maybe shaving off a few pounds? Or maybe replacing something for something else.

You could get the Geil PC6400 C4 as that is a bit cheaper than the OCZ and you could change the case to an Antec NSK 6580 which comes with a decent 430w PSU and is cheaper.

You could get the VX540 PSU instead as it'll be more than powerful enough. You should also get the 250 GB Seagate 7200.10. It's faster and only a tiny bit more expensive.

EDIT: Good call on the case/PSU, semi-pro.

But disregard that as the Antec combo semi-pro mentioned is a better idea.
