Just got this

Hi

I have just got a Q6600 and a Gigabyte P35 DS4...

Overclocks fine.

Rock Stable.

Does not run stinking hot like my 680i mobo :)

Overall a very nice board with silent cooling that does not run steaming hot!

If you want SLi though this is not the board for you.

Regards

Coolur

If money is no object the Gigabyte GA X38 DQ6 or Asus Maximus Formula SE....X38 chipset.

If your not up to spending that much, you really could not go wrong with the Abit IP35 Pro....P35 chipset. :)

I am wondering some of these boards are in the region of £85 while others are like £170.

What are you spending the extra money on with the really expensive boards? Is it all that extra heatpipe stuff and watercooled NB's?

I mean don't just quote me some marketing guff but highlight some benefits that have real world use?
