Acetal is more reliable as a block-top than acrylic. It doesn't crack anywhere near as easily. It's non-reactive when it comes to galvanic issues. So yes, delrin/acetal is MUCH better when it comes to reliability. Does nothing for performance tho.

Nickel plating - makes the blocks a chrome color instead of a copper color. Nothing else. S'all just fer looks.
