Men wearing necklaces

I've always thought jewellry is for women barring a nice watch and ring. I have seen the beaded type necklaces worn by my mates and other men but never worn one myself.

I have recently bought a necklace. It just a symbol (6 petal anti-spin flower) on a thin piece of black lace, but havent worn it.

Do you think necklaces for men are 'gay' or should i just wear it?
