Hopefully a decent PC with room to improve some of the components when money allows.

biggest waste of time ever.

get a decent graphics card.

save some money on the processor by getting an E2180 and clocking the nuts off it

then spend the money on getting an 8800GT

I would say around £600 not inc monitor but this can go up if i see a good enough reason to.

re the graphics card I dont game on my pc so dont want to spend more than I need to - I just want a decent card that can handle streaming hd video files.

just an 8600GT with 512 mb of memory would do then.

the GTS isn't meant to be very good at all.
