Hey all,

Had a PSP from the Mrs' for Christmas and have been struggling with remote play.

I've configured the PSP fine, I've managed to turn the PS3 on and access it across the internet and my home network, however the problem lies when I turn off the PS3..

If I press the home button on the PSP and select "Turn off PS3" console it will turn off, however, when I then turn off the PSP the PS3 suddenly springs back to life and in to remote play mode.

I've tried turning off "automatic remote play" or whatever it is called, but then it defeats the point of the whole "access your PS3 from anywhere" feature as I have to press to confirm on my PS3 pad :(

Anyone help?

WOW! That's all I can say. I just got a PSP from the high street and configured remote play. It's quite incredible. Never in a month of Sundays did I realise you'd be able to control the entire PS3 XMB and so have access to all the photos/music/video stored on it.
