4gb of RAM 32bit XP

how would it work regarding say 4GB (2x2GB) and a onboard 256MB Graphics card? would it be 3.5GB or abit less, then you lose 256MB ontop? or would you keep the 3.5GB after the 256MB come out?

nice to see I started an interesting discussion and some peoples misguided views were corrected.

Also apologies for those people who found they had ram missing!

I'm going to go for the 4gb, like has been said it is cheap and it looks as though I can expect ~3.5gb!
