Tad off topic, but I can't sell this in the MM.

I bought a Protec Ace, Ryan Guelett signature model helmet off the web, and though I needed a large, but it is just a tad too big for my head :(

If anyone is interested in a swap? I'm wanting pretty much the same thing, just a medium. I know it's a long shot but worth a try :)

She is nice. Had her for about 9 months and no problems so far. Gradually upgrading bits and bobs to get her exactly how I want her. Not really the weather for riding too often at the moment though.

Great thread, I'm looking to buy a new bike, as I parted with my other one. I've been saving and got about £800 to spend, I really like 'Orange 2008 P7 S', but if any of you guys have any other opinions, do post. It's for work etc, do it's got to be a hardtail really.

Cheers

Here are some pictures of my new bike and compare to the old bike, Well its more of an update as I have built this one up from last year.

old:

After one year and getting a little better at riding, well a lot better and fitter.....

Side view showing the Thomson layback post etc.

Chainset full XT <- apart from the LX hollowtech2 crank, but its close ;)

Leavers & Bars

Front Hope Mini Mono's.

Thats enough pics atm, the back Hopes are the same as the Fronts so you dont really need to see them. I just need to get some riding in, although its a bit cold.

Trust me, its not that bad when your riding, I think its comfortable! Although looking at that pic, I havn't ridden it since i took it out the back of my work van and put the XT derailier on. It might be higher than I normally have it.

But im sure not by much. Anyway what do you guys / gals think??

I'm not really into XC but I think it looks pretty sweet for a hardtail - is it quite light? A friend of mine has my old bike and thats super light XC bike.
