Problem with Div's and Backgrounds

I am having a problem that has me completely baffled, and would much appreciate any help anybody could give.

http://www.annodominiguild.co.uk/newmember.php

Is the page I am working on, and as you can see at the bottom of the text content there is an error with the background not sitting flush. What is causing this? It happens after a certain amount of lines of text, before then its fine (such as www.annodominiguild.co.uk/index.php ).

Could someone give me a bit of help? Much appreciated.

you're not closing paragraph tags properly. try fixing that.

That is only on that one page, for example:
www.annodominiguild.co.uk/dkp.php
On that page I am closing them properly, and the problem persists.

However, on the index.php its all working fine.

on the index page your using the <span>, rather than <p> so you might have to look at the difference there

I just realised it works fine in IE, just not FireFox.

Try inserting p{margin: 0; padding: 5px;} into your style sheet.

You really need to validate the HTML of each page.
