Hi all, I have a DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 SLI-DR motherboard in my file server and noticed that there are in fact 3 onboard 12 volt power connectors, There is the normal 4 pin square 12 volt connector next to the Main PSU input, There is also a 4 pin molex connector under this but then there is a 4 pin small molex connector (same as FDD connector) just above the PCI Express slot next to the small PCIE slot.

Does anyone know if i need all these plugged in at the same time as i can't find anything about it in the online manual.

Thanks

its not obligatory but apparently it helps with stabilaty, or something

like if your running your ram at 204v and your cpu at 10GHz you can get 0.9% less power surges or soething or other, anyhow its not needed for a file server im sure.

god i need to sleep... kinda
