am not being lazy... am just not sure which is good nor bad.

I need to do sum reading before i do this but i am upgrading to water cooled as i am going to be clocking my CPU.

so any recommendations off a decent kit at a decent price...oviously willing to buy parts separate. ??

cheers

That siberian tiger kit (for what it is) is no more modular than a aircooled heatsink. If you ever want to upgrade or add GPU into the loop you can't.

Most people on here would recommend nothing less than THIS

or maybe google for "Extreme CPU Watercooling kit (PA120.2)" for more performance.

buy expensive, buy once: buy cheap, buy twice.

1 x D-Tek dB-1 Compact 12v Pump - Ultra Quiet

8 x 12mm Hoseclip

I concure, get as big radiator as you can, and even if you have to get a 120.1 or 120.2 the go for the Thermochill PA. The Black Ice GT Stealth is not brilliant, it's the only advantage is its slimline size. I got it a few years ago and it's just OK but i'm getting a PA 120.3 now as i've added more blocks to my loop and need something more powerful.

Swap the Apogee for a D-tek Fuzion (you'll need it for a Q6600) and the rad for a 240mm (120.2) one. The GT Stealth is a bit thin, so either a Swiftech MCR220 or a Thermochill PA120.2.

Got one of those kits today that F1ZZY linked to

Easy to install and my temps are nice n low again (just used the 12v to 7v leads and now she's silent and not really any change in temps)

You could get that kit and then at a later date add to it i guess (as said if you're gonna be cooling every chip move up to larger rad)

Good for the money, Easy to install, And it works

Mines in a lian-li PC-G70 so loadsa room and rads sat nice on the rear :)

I had hunted around for parts to make my own kit up but with deliveries from allover the place and bits out of stock i went for that kit as it's less hastle

No doubt you'll be thrilled with the temps whatever you decide

Ciao
