Buying a used motorbike and HPI checks

I'm going to look at a 2007 ZX6R tonight and I have the registration number to do an HPI check. But when I tried typing the registration into 2 different websites they both say it is a Mazda 5 Sport (MPV). Why is it doing this? Should I walk away?

Yeah it's a private sale. The bike has only done 3000 miles apparantly and he is asking £4500 ono. But why would it be showing an MPV on the reg check?

Are you sure the reg is correct? Get him to check the v5. Might be a typo on the plate, seen it happen before.

Yea Id check the reg details again, maybe its just me but thats really cheap for a 07 ZX6R so alarm bells would be going off in my head, I paid £5k for a 2004 bike lol with about the same miles.

Turns out it was the wrong reg lol. I done the check and its come up all clear. I thought it was really cheap too so if it looks as good as it sounds hopefully I will have a new bike tonight

Nice one if the reg checks out definitely go for it at that price

Will do, if I make it home alive

My last bike was a DRZ400SM which I sold on Saturday so I will be taking it easy.
