Hi there, for me this is the best and most updated list of the top picture quality... there is also an audio one linked on there. I like it becuase more than one person has input on the quality of the picture.

For me the best PQ I have seen is I Robot, just looks fantastic and I thought it was a good film as well. Pretty much all animated films look great as well Ratatouille (as mentioned above) and cars.

i have a problem with animations being rated so highly. obviously picture queslity SHOULD be perfect, no question. but ratatouille for example never impressed me as much as the 'blu tier' filmed movies. shoot em up for example impressed more far more.

I think Sin City should look fabulous on BR

The PotC trilogy also look fabulous to me (1st was the best film imo)

Going to start watching Damages on BR tonight, hopefully that has come out well (Glen Close as a **** of a defence attorney is worth it on its own imo)

This is why you are a special child :p

Hehe animations do look perfect, but then again something like casino royale really is the pinnacle of blu-ray.

It was when it was released (possibly the 1st officially launched BR in the UK - or certainly one of them)

Its a great demo - but Im not sure its as great as some others, and not only because of the artistically kept grain in the film, I like it personally but know a lot of people dont and its offputting to them

I personally can't wait for Cloverfield on BluRay, it's outstanding on DVD... so here's hoping :)

Just got "Cloverfield" and "There will be blood" through the post today. Cloverfield looks fantastic, though I wouldnt really class it as reference material, there are movies around with better PQ. The audio is where its at... certainly one of the best, up there with die hard and I am Legend.

There will be blood again looks very good but comparing it to something like "No country for old me" (which has the same sort of outdoors desert landscape) It doesnt seem as crisp or sharp. The dark shots look great though with masses of detail when a face or an object is picked out. So two good looking films but more 4* rather than 5 PQ wise, thats not a bad thing as they are both good films to watch.
