As I said; stay away from the french:

http://img232.imageshack.us/my.php?image=damnfrogshv7.jpg (for the tournament)

That put me down to <1k, pushed with 7-8 in the hope I was live.. I was right, but he showed A-6 and flops trip aces :mad:

Edit - Might cool it for a while, getting no luck at all. Guy to my left keeps pushing with crap like K2 against AQ and spiking a king in a multi-table sit and go, I get JJ in 2nd position, was min raised already, so I make it 4x that to get crap hands out. Original raiser pushes, I think about it and push myself to get the donk out..

I have JJ
Original raiser has QQ
Donk has KK.

Incredible.

If thats for real money, thats some seriously high stakes. 100BB buyin = $5000!

Yeah but the sick thing is I knew I wasn't going to hit. Nothing went for me at that table and ended up losing about $125, all my profit from the last week. Back to my original 75 now :(

Not bad, I've made it all back now.

2 crucial hands today:

Down to $40, dealt 9-10 suited, so call the blind. SB makes it 3x, BB calls, I call.

6-7-8 flop, SB bets $11, BB calls, I push for an extra $21, SB goes all in, BB calls.

SB has AA, BB has 88, and my straight holds up :D

Just took down a $102 pot with JJ, 2 Kings on board, 1 caller to my 5x raise. He bets half pot on flop (K-x-x), I raise 3x his bet, he calls. It's checked to the river, he shoves like he's stealing, I think and call. He shows J9o, a total bluff. :D

Muppetry of the first order

SB is getting 14:1 to call my all in but I can just about see his logic as if BB gets beaten he is in money

BB is getting 28:1 and has SB next which covers his remaining chips

I haven't done too badly, but i've played some decent MTT's on FT and taken some seriously sick beats.

Notably, one in a HA game, was the last hand of Omaha as well, at 120/240 blinds. I get dealt AA23, 3 hearts, and raise. Guy re-raises, I said to a mate I didn't want to play, but pushed, he called. 4-5-K flop, he showed AJQ8, turn Q, river 10. He was on the same stack as me too, 7.5k :mad::mad:

I've cashed in 14 out of my last 20 sit n go's.

Gamble 10% of your bankroll max. Trust me :p

I havn't got a job so im grinding it out trying to keep out of my overdraft :p

Youve raised a crucial point here, bankroll management is a science within poker, make sure you are sufficiently rolled for the stakes you are playing people.

Had a night down at DTD tonight

main game was a £50 FO, doing well , over double average stack with 62 left

get AA in early pos, raise 3x bb ( 600 ) , BB reraises to 3k , I come over top for 18k all in , he calls ( only bigger stack on table )

He show AK and promptly hits straight on river

decided then on a 10 quid donkathon which was satellite to a £750 event, 12 left and again I had Aces when there is an all in ahead of me from big stack ( par for the course in this one )

I call and he shows 67 off, 7 on the flop and another on turn

I'm taking up chess

nice pic ^^

Started again tonight. Not a fan of online stuff but so far so good $200 up from sit n go cash tables. Playing $0.5/$1 blinds.

I'd say that you need to forget about the money. Play with discipline and backbone and try not to make moves with hands you're uncomfortable with. Stick to what you know and to be fair there's always a bigger ass (get it?) than you on the table.

Good luck.
