just wondering where this video on youtube is taken and which (if any) dvd is it taken from so I can buy it. cheers guys.

This is correct, look for the old grey whistle test DVD's. I think this is from around 1972.

I keep backups of all my music DVDs (over 700 none limited edition) - OGWT DVD1

Also remember that I was very disappointed when I got these DVD's.
When I was a young man in t'early 70s I thought everybody was LIVE on the OGWT - not true.
I remember classic live performances by Steppenwolf, Bowie, Roxy Music, Montrose etc and they were miming.
