And by classic I mean Pre 1990.

I always thought Stakker was a bit earlier, but it's still a killer tune.

The Anthem is still Marshall Jefferson - Move Your Body. I can't believe that tune is nearly 25 years old.

Also found "The Whop" by Fast Eddie on you tube, now that in it's day made the crowd go mental. Sounds a bit dated now.

never realised that was so early

ill try and remember the name of the documentary i watched. was about the history of DJing. started off with footage of afrika bambatta at playing at a party then moved onto chicago/detroit techno and then onto the hacienda and ibiza.

4 part documentary by ch4 iirc

its amazing how bgood some of these old tunes are really. im too young to of heard them the first time round but they still sound amazing to me now. doesnt get much better than http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBnlBLfAdBY&feature=related for me

Can I insist that peeps on this thread just post 80s house music, cos that was when it was proper house music. I got most of my stuff on tapes from Pirate radio stations and by god I need to get that stuff onto mp3's before they disentegrate.
