Did you forget it had over 240bhp per tonne...

I'm not sure if anyone remembers but this is the same 5 I posted about a while ago. Its now turbo'd, set up and has been christened at knockhill. It passes Exiges up the straights etc.

It should fit your mx5 - may need to check though.

Do you really think it will make a difference to downforce though?

This is almost exactly the type of thing I'm looking for. A friend with an elise who did a CTR engine conversion added a wing pretty similar to that and said it was one of the best things he did to transform the handling on track.

I love the look of that, but couldn't stomach the price tag. Thanks for the lead though.

With regards to the 5... I love the look of the car without a spoiler but the back end feels too light with the added power, particularly in the wet. Eagle F1's all round have helped to a certain degree, but I can't help thinking it'd be nice to have something pushing them to the ground.

Thing is though without access to a wind tunnel etc etc how will you possibly know the best wing and wing setup for track usage?

If you like the lotus wing, can you not get one from a scrapped one? (If you can find one).

But im with Fox, I don't think your going to notice any difference at all. Spend some more money on your suspension set up first?
