Hi, what kind of thumb screws are needed to replace the normal screws in Lian Li cases for PCI slots etc? I bought some but they are too big.

Got some on my desk in front of me, they are definitely the fine pitched ones.

Just looked :)

Indeed they are.

Only thing is the ones you linked say they're case screws...Indicating they may be the type for side panels...

Although on your average case the PCI brackets are held in with course screws anyway.

****Just read the Aluminium part, so I don't know to be fair.

I'm not sure either , I bought some before but I got both types just in case, then used the course ones on HDDs.

M3 and fine? Bit gutted as I bought 60 black ones only to find they are far too big.

So which ones to buy, the akasa aluminium ones?

I believe they're correct...Someone was advertising them on the bay as fine thread so hopefully yeah :)

Either way, standard cd-rom type screws will fit if they don't.

I've got screws in, just want to replace everything wit thumb crews, looks nicer and much faster, even replacing all the cd rom screws with them!
