Our team of psychics has already begun to research your requirements. However, due to static in the ether we have so far been unable to establish exactly what you want to do with your proposed computer, your budget or your present circumstances. As soon as this temporary glitch has been resolved we'll establish a crack team of googlers and review readers to undertake a thorough review of what's available and come to a conclusion as to what is the perfect mainboard for a bloke called imran-17. We'll get back to you sometime.

Why DDR3? yields only a 5% increase in performance, plus only comes into its own at FSB's rated 1800Mhz, Which means overclocking!

Pushing it abit with that price tag! As said before a p45 chipset is good for you, possibly the p5q. Along with 4gig of ram with most kits costing under £100 nowadays
