OK so I'm in the city centre right now, there's no food in the house, and I want to eat before I go shopping, but I'm on my own and I'm not going to sit at a table for one.

So what food shall I take home? I'm not going to McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Kebab shop or any of that junk.

Is Wagamama take away any good? Same food as if you were sitting in?

A meal deal from boots :p (edit: I'm guessing it's not open)

So go to one of the supermarkets in town and buy an egg mayo or salmon sandwich... Cheap and nutritious :p

Subway??? Wasnt this on the TV a few months back as one of the worst places to buy sandwiches due to the MASSIVE amounts of saturated fats, might as well just go to Mcdonalds than Subway

Personally, when Im in the City centre and need food, Marks and Spencer ticks the box for me.

I was under the opinion Subway are really rather bad for you, just because you can add salad on your sandwich means bugger all really.

I was going off their advertised fact that they do several subs with <6g fat. I will only have chicken with salad. Nice bread.
