Is anyone else watching this?

Its terrible watching the poor bloke going through this awful life of his - and seeing his family go through all this torment.

Its like a no holds barred program about the every day life of a heroin addict, and the thing is - hes not a bad bloke, he actually seems really nice.

Good program! :D

Because you would have to be an idiot to even take heroin in the first place, I will be paying for the NHS bill and all the other costs that go along with drug addictions.

Don't be utterly ridiculous, you have no idea what drove him to this, what his circumstance are or anything. Even if he only took it casually (which believe it or not is possible) addiction may have crept up on him. Trying something new is not a stupid thing to do, some of the 'finest minds' in history have been fuelled by opiates.

I've not watched it but some peoples naivety to drugs and drug culture really is unbearable.

just because he made a bad descision once or twice in his life doesnt make him an idiot or bad forever

just because you and other young uns get told constantly at school/college how bad heroin is doesnt mean that he was given the same advice

Some drugs should be legalised. Not Heroin.

Heroin has to be. Its practically the worst one. It being illegal does nothing; it only allows people to be prey of dealers.

Obviously if heroin were legal, it wouldn't be sold in corner shops, but there should be monitored buildings where people can take it if they choose to. Then they can be helped and given clean needles. Plus, if the stuff was legal, the government would make money via taxes which should somehow cover the 'NHS Bills'. Legalised cannabis should sort that.

People on hard drugs need proper help, not live in fear of being locked up in jail for possession. People will take drugs no matter what; if they're going to do it, it makes sense to at least watch them and be there when it all goes horribly wrong.

Just watched the end of it, he was feeling really bad and was "bleeding from every orifice" and thought he was dying.

Next day he checked himself into a rehab clinic at a hospital.

24 hours after that, he died from a brain hemorrhage from drugs withdrawal.

Really, really sad. Never been so moved by a program as much as that.

Very odd as that sounds like he went cold turkey in the clinic which they shouldn't have done. If he was taken off heroin and used methadone he shouldn't have suffered from any of the worse withdrawal symptoms :s

Well said.
