GPU Client

Thought i'd set it up, got a 260, so probs do some good

Anyway, i can't seem to get it too start as a service, it loads up the exe, but not the actual crunching program (fahcore_11.exe)

Am i doing something wrong?

What operating system are you using? I understand it's nigh on impossible to get clients working as services under Vista.

Its easy to set up the service on Vista, the problem is it doesn't work.

Hey, welcome to the team! Should get you some nice points.

As the service installation doesn't work too well with the GPU client on Vista, the best thing to do is probably just to install the standard system tray client. That way it'll start with your system and won't be intrusive apart from the system tray icon. If you don't open the viewer it's not really any slower than the service version, and has the bonus that you can pause the client easily if it interferes with games, etc.
