What product should i use??

What should i do? What shouldn't i do?

Just want it to have that shiny as new (as possible) look.

Thanks,

Thanks.

I heard that you should disconnect your battery & cover all electric bits. Is that true?

You don't really need to do this unless you're going to jetwash the whole engine bay. Just get some Gunk engine degreaser or some hot soapy water, and get scrubbing!

You can go over the radiator hoses etc with tyre shine which gives it a "new" look. Use plastic cleaners for... the plastic bits, airbox etc.

We just give them a blast with a pressure washer at work,
its only old cars that we have trouble with but as long as you are carefull you
can get your engine bay looking like new in just a few seconds.

Gunk or Jizer and spray the whole engine bay and brush it into any heavily dirty areas then before it dries rinse it out with hose and then go around all the connectors/wiring loom/battery with WD40 jobs a good un.
