GumTree Has anyone bought via them

as title realy, has anyone got anything via gumtree through thier payment program (agent).

I have a chance to get an omnia 16gig new for £180. yes sound good. Seems to look an ok process.

But would like to know if anyone else has done this.

Definate scam! Does gumtree even have a payment service?

Gumtrees not the payment processor, it's an equivalent of the members market here. Buying/Selling secondhand goods so the payment is handled between the buyer and seller.

It's a legit site but like anything if you come up against a dodgy seller beware.

I realise that and have bought stuff off there myself but phone and payment agent = scam in my book.

I have reported the ad, as Im no way paying via weston union. I said to the chap if you send first then I will.

omnia I got was listed on gumtree as well. Hope you find one soon mate! 16gb for 180 defo sounds too good
