Monitor broken? 22" LG.

Hey guys,

I bought a 22" LG monitor about 15 months ago which has been faultless.

However, last night i turned the pc on and nothing happened, so i turned the monitor off>on and it projected an image for about 0.5 of a second and then turned off again.

If i turn it off> on i can do this over and over.

My question is, is it worth getting it repaired and if so where could i get it repaired?

If not whats the best 22" replacement monitor for £150?

p.s I 100% know its the monitor as its doing the same on my other pc.

Did you use the same cable when you tried it in the other PC?

Nope, i used the one that is working fine with my monitor.

Well I guess you have done what you can imho.

I'm on the search for a 22" myself so if you do find something a bit special keep me posted please

I've been looking at the ASUS ones on OCuK (222H &226H), I had made my mind up to get a 226H but it's out of stock now.

would my lg still be under warranty?

That's the one I'be been thinking about as the 226H model is now gone.

Depends where you got the LG one from & what warranty was given with it, some have a 3 year warranty, worth a go anyway.

Just out of interest, which lg model was it? Planning to get a W2261V myself...
