As for pressed plates, are the backgrounds reflective? The DVLA state that this is the reason that stick on plates are not legal, because they would not comply with the British Standard Number (currently BS AU 145d), but if these are reflective, then it obviously not an issue.

I've noticed a lot of cars coming out of dealerships with that font. The previous two cars I bought had it and a massive proportion of the cars I see on the road have it too. Wonder why.
