How do people feel about Veal?

Well it seems most people here have no aversion.

The animals are only here because they're a food source, and like the OP says, in principle it's no different to eating the likes of lamb or even chicken (most slaughtered when 6-8 weeks old). So as far as I can see it makes no sense to eat those but not veal because of morals. Not eating because of preferences in taste, fair enough.

Livestock that are shot a few days/hours after birth really is a waste of resource. Previously I'd have been against any kind of Veal but if those standards are adheared to by all producers, I'd probably give UK veal a go. I don't eat cheap non uk sourced meat for my own reasons (welfare standards can be appalling).

Veal is lovely! Foie Gras is nice as well :)

I've never been one to dismiss certain foods because of how they are produced, it's only food at the end of the day so should only matter if it tastes good or not imo.
