Protein Shake - Quick question!

Hello all,

It's been far too long since I posted on here so hello!

Anyway, I'm just getting back into weight training at the gym and have ordered some more Protein from MyProtein but realised afterwards that I still have some left over from last time.

Problem is - it says the expiry date is 11/2008 - what do you think, still good to use or shall I bin it? It's the unflavoured Whey Protein...I got the Isolate this time around....

personally I wouldnt use it. Thats long by the use by date

Yeah that's what I was thinking. It still smells ok, but I guess it's not like it can smell funny? Or maybe I just have a blocked nose, lol...

I recall reading that when it goes off it really smells bad and doesn't mix well. Im not sure wether there's much harm in trying it.

as long as its been kept closed and dry it should still be fine

Yeah it's been kept in a concealed tub (air tight one) ever since. So I reckon I might give it a try and if I feel any 'adverse' affects I will stop. Thanks for the advice/opinions.

I'd use it

if its sealed, it should be fine. Its just powder! Man it up
