Seriourly, is it that hard to find one? Just go for Debenhams 100% Egyption cotton, basic white or red. Job done and the ladies that you bring over will love you for it.

You cannot go wrong with the Deluxe line from Sheridan, 1200 thread count Cotton Sateen (which will impress any visitors you have). It's not cheap, but worth every penny. Most of the larger department stores carry it, and there are often 50% off sales running so it's worth looking out for them. It's the only bedding the wife and I buy as it washes so well (we have three sets that we rotate and all are as good as the day they were bought).

Surely black satin sheets are all a bit corny - bit of a turn-off for the ladies, that's for sure!

You can't go wrong with something like gingham, so how about some red gingham bedding. I can see that the bed probably isn't terribly masculine, more of a romantic feminine style bed but try and imagine this bed linen on a more masculine type bed?!

Alternatively, why don't you just get some luxurious pure white Egyptian cotton bed linen and put some coloured throws and cushions (red, blue etc) onto the bed to add a splash of colour, eg for a 'look' like this.
