I know the feeling. Just forked out £800 for my D90

Oh right, cool, my only worry is,you know the little door over the battery? where does that go when the grip is on?

Many grips have a little slot for that latch from the bottom of the camera

You remove the flap. There should be a release somewhere so it comes off.

Yeah, open it to about 45 degrees and it slides off, think he means where that goes when its on though
